Highest individual score of One day International came from the bat of Rohit “Hitman” Sharma. He took apart Sri Lankan bowling attack in Kolkata on 13 Nov 2014. Sharma scored 264 run in 173 balls. He smacked 33 fours and 6 sixes in his innings. His 33 fours in that innings are most in one innings of One Day Internationals.
#02 Martin Guptil
Guptil hammered second of the Highest individual scores v West Indies in ICC Cricket world cup 2015. He scored 237 off 163 balls in Wellington on 21 March 2015. He struck 24 fours and 11 sixes in his innings. His 24 fours are 4th most fours and 11 sixes are 7th most sixes in one innings of ODI.

Charles Coventry of Zimbabwe broke the record of highest individual scores in ODI after 12 years. Before him, Saeed Anwar’s 194 v India remained highest individual score of ODI from 1997 to 2009. Coventry scored 194 not out off 147 balls v Bangladesh at Bulawayo on 16 August 2009. He hit 16 fours and 7 sixes in his effort.

Former left hand opening batsman from Pakistan, Saeed Anwar scored 194 v India at Chennai on 21 May 1997. He faced 146 balls and struck 22 fours and 5 sixes to reach this score. His record total remained at top for almost 12 years.

West Indian former player Sir Viv Richards is at number 09 in highest individual scores in ODI. He achieved this feat v England at Manchester on 31 May 1984.
